Meet Dr. Blair Bradford, DMD
Endodontist | Co-founder, Northwest Endodontics
Dr. Blair Bradford brings a dynamic and unconventional journey to the field of endodontics, marked by service, adventure, and academic excellence. Raised across the United States, he completed high school and began his collegiate studies in Utah. Driven by a passion for medicine, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy as a hospital corpsman, graduating first in his class and earning the distinction of Company Honor Man. His military service included advanced training in trauma life support and emergency medicine, as well as deployment during Operation Desert Storm, where he served in the emergency room at Oakland Naval Hospital.
Dr. Bradford began his undergraduate work at the University of Utah, working in a physical therapy department and in an artificial heart laboratory. After a six-year interlude as a professional skydiving instructor and freefall photographer, he returned to complete his degree in biology and chemistry before pursuing a career in dentistry.
He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, graduating summa cum laude and third in his class. During dental school, he served as National Vice President of the American Student Dental Association and after held numerous leadership roles with the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and the American Association of Endodontists.
Dr. Bradford completed a two-year postdoctoral residency in Endodontics at Tufts and practiced in the Boston area before co-founding Northwest Endodontics with Dr. Julie Beasley in 2005. He is dedicated to providing compassionate, personalized, evidence-based care, and brings a wealth of experience to every patient he treats.
Outside of the operatory, Dr. Bradford is an instrument-rated pilot and dedicated recreational competitor. A former high school hurdler and college bike criterium racer, he sought to rebuild his fitness after dental school—progressing from 5K runs to completing Ironman Austria. He has also podiumed multiple times in the 200-mile single-speed category at the internationally renowned Unbound Gravel race in Kansas.
Blending science and nature, he applies his background in biology, plant science, and population genetics to the field of beekeeping and queen bee breeding. Always motivated to stay youthful and active—especially to keep up with his 12-year-old son, Aiden—Dr. Bradford brings the same focus and energy to his hobbies as he does to his practice.
Fun fact: Dr. Bradford has recorded two holes-in-one. The first may have been a lucky mis-hit, but he confidently called the second one.
